The Comedy Series Brassic Ends Its Run with Tarantino-Inspired Finale

The creators Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are concluding on their humorous show about a tight-knit bunch of likable chancers causing chaos in a countryside town in Lancashire. One could anticipate the last episode to be a nostalgic highlight reel of alcohol, substances, and playful theft. However, the vibes are distinctly darker as Vinnie (Gilgun) and the crew barricade themselves in a bar with gangster Davey MacDonagh for a climactic 50th episode seemingly influenced by Quentin Tarantino.

The Show Dragons' Den

8pm, BBC One
Dancers from the ballet world enter the den this week, as single mothers Laura and Stacey present their line of inclusive dancewear – and cause Peter Jones to become flustered. Next, an eye surgeon turned inventor has a clever gadget for misplaced tape edges.

The Series All Creatures Great and Small

9pm, Channel 5
The animal-related escapades are all fine, but this excellent historical series proves its worth with tender character work. An especially moving installment weaves the stories of a injured draft horse and a missing young cow into a more serious storyline centring on the character Tristan, whose actions lead to a fraternal intervention.

The Hack

9pm, ITV1
It’s been a long road. But the penultimate episode of this initially sluggish but ultimately compelling phone-hacking drama sees Nick, portrayed by David Tennant discovering details about the actions of the News of the World that the other media outlets simply can’t ignore. Things are also looking up for Dave, who has a unexpected new supporter.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK

9pm, BBC Three
Prepare for enthusiastic gestures: it’s time to present Peter Pansy – The Musical! That means the pressure is on for the drag performers to perform vocally, dance, and act and ultimately slay as they prepare for the production. And who better to guest judge than West End stage legend Mazz Murray, alongside the panel including Graham Norton, Michelle Visage, and RuPaul.

The Series The Iris Affair

9pm on Sky Atlantic
Anyone afraid of insects will want to skip ahead as episode six begins, before something of a Mexican (or rather Sardinian) standoff occurs, when Cameron forces Iris to exchange her journal for the captured Joy – else she’ll be “shot repeatedly” from Meski’s menacing drone … How to get out of this one?
