Devoted supporters of the pop star are urging that a person who breached a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed includes videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a punishable act," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous followers blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented a further message on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned event staff at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had waited for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The movie, to be premiered on 21 November, is the second of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two very different witches.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, earning two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
