Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amid Regional Retaliatory Strikes.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as Iran launched missile attacks across the region in response for a large-scale and continuing offensive targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity near the command center of the American Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any destruction is uncertain and the US has remained silent.
Regional Interceptions
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - which all house US military bases - reported they have shot down incoming projectiles in their air space.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had intercepted a number of projectiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
Iran's Declared Retaliation
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard declared it was striking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the strikes on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That preceding assault - executed at around 06:15 GMT - has so far struck sites associated with the the regime, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the Iranian people to revolt against the leadership.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israeli military stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the UAE said in a statement that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems responded to the missiles with notable success and shot down a number of missiles," it added.
It said debris fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some property damage and the death of one civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
